My name is Pamela Lammersen and I am the owner/photographer of PCML. I first became interested in photography at a young age by watching and listening to my father (who at the time was a photographer) talk about photography and also being allowed to sit in the darkroom while he developed his work. I purchased my first camera (a 110 flip camera-by Kodak) at the age of 14 during a family trip to Holland, I still remember the first photo I took... it was a ‘really bad’ photo taken of the view outside my hotel room in Singapore (can you believe it? I still have this photo). From that day I was hooked and have taken 1000’s of photos since. Taking photos relaxes me, I can normally be found out with my dogs and a backpack full of camera gear roaming around the lakes, parks, back-hills or where ever I feel there is a good ‘photo op’. I will hang off ledges, over bridges, climb down or up things just to get the right vantage point. In a photo shoot as with all my photography I don’t let unconventional things stop me, and believe that if I can see the image in my head then I can put it on paper. Hence the saying I like to go by ‘your imagination is your only limitation’ and with that I try to individualize each and every shoot. And so it has now turned into PCML Photography.
